A Feel-Good Performance
From 1980 to the present, volunteers have contributed countless hours of service supporting the arts. We simply couldn’t work without the hundreds of dedicated individuals who donate their time and talents each year as ushers, tour guides, information desk associates, and special events staff. Annually, this saves Overture Center over $400,000 in labor costs!
How can you help?
By contributing at the Friend Level ($40) or above and checking off your interest in volunteering, you become eligible to volunteer. When you become an Overture member, your dollars are directed to the Annual Fund which in turn supports all the community-based programming Overture Center presents. It’s a great way to get involved in the arts, have fun and make friends!
Overture is a very important part of Madison because of what it brings to the community. There’s so much activity going on around here that it’s just a tremendous asset to the city of Madison. – Mark Ashley, Volunteer Usher
