Free Shows for Kids and Families
From award-winning folk singers and zany jugglers, to friendly furry animals and traditional Indian dancing, our popular Kids in the Rotunda series for families is sure to engage, educate and entertain your whole family. Enjoy a diverse lineup of local, regional and national performers selected exclusively for children ages nine and younger and their families.
Join us on the Rotunda Stage for FREE Shows Saturdays October through April at 9:30 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM. All 1 PM performances are sign language interpreted.
Just Announced Summer Sessions
The 2016-17 Kids in the Rotunda season will be announced soon. Until then, join us for one of our special summer sessions in the community:
SAT, JULY 16, 11 AM – 5 PM at Madison Central Park (202 S. Ingersoll Street):
Kids in the Rotunda at La Fete de Marquette featuring performances by Stuart Stotts, Goongoo Peas, Madison Circus Space, Limanya Dance & Drum Ensemble and family yoga sessions between performances.
WED, JULY 20, 10:30 AM – 2 PM in Overture Lobby:
Summer Library Carnival with crafts, games and performances by Justin Roberts at 10:30 AM and 2 PM.
TUES, AUG 2, 6 PM – 8 PM at Olbrich Botanical Gardens:
On Your Mark, Get Set, READ! Pack a picnic supper and head to the Gardens for a fun-filled family concert! Come, rain or shine, at 6 PM to play with bubbles and make a project with Olbrich Gardens staff. Then, at 7 PM, David Landau will get your toes tapping while you munch!
